THE ROLE OF KAZAKHSTAN IN AMERICAN POLITICAL-MILITARY STRATEGY IN CENTRAL ASIA AFTER ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001
Abstract
Policy priorities of the USA regarding republics of the Central Asia were determined in the light of new system of regional security; measures for assistance in fight against terrorism offered by Kazakhstan were considered; the role of Kazakhstan in American antiterrorist policy was specified; the analysis of evaluations and speeches of members of Congress was carried out concerning strategic significance of Kazakhstan for American national interests and maintenance of the Central Asia’s security.
