CLUSTER ANALYSIS IN HANDLING THE PROBLEM OF TYPOLOGY OF REGIONS OF RUSSIA BY LEVEL AND INTENSITY OF INTERNAL LABOR MIGRATION

Abstract

Internal labor migration significantly affects  the  socio-economic development of regions  of the  country. The  author carries out  segmentation of territories by level  and  intensity of migration via cluster analysis.  The  emphasis is on “giving” regions. Official data of government statistics was used  as a date  base  of the  research. Conclusions are  drawn, recommendations are made.
