DEMOGRAPHIC POLICY IN MODERN RUSSIA: INSTITUTIONAL AND SOCIAL WAYS OF DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The article analyzes shortfalls revealed in the course of implementation of the state demographic policy in the Russian Federation. Measures for the demographic situation improve- ment in the country are justified. They include creation of the united authority responsible for implementation of the demographic policy; formation of accurate and objective measures of performance evaluation of implementation of the demographic policy; state authorities’ stimulation of transformation of sociocultural environment into direction of revival of traditional family values.
