VERITY AS A SOCIAL WEIGHT (postmodernism’s ways in cognition theory)
Abstract
The verity problem and its solution in the modern cognition theory in postmodernism ver- sion are considered. Grounds together with the issue of introduction of such verity criterion of knowledge estimation as social weight are pointed out. It is emphasized that changes in verity criteria as well as in the idea of verity are determined not only by subjective perception of the modern cognitive process but also by objective conditions of the modern social process.
