FINANCIAL STABILITY – VITALITY FACTOR OF SMALL CITIES
Abstract
Financial stability as a great potential of vitality of small cities of Siberian Federal district is considered. The notion of financial stability of municipal formation is given. Es- timation procedure for financial stability of small cities on the basis of the integral index (financial stability index) is suggested. Gradation of small cities by level of financial stabil- ity as a result of calculation of financial stability index is presented with a view to defini- tion of effective development strategy of small cities network as well as mechanism of its implementation, which will make it possible to strengthen spatial continuity of Siberia in a whole.
